Smokin' Aces

Jeez, I need to get to the nearest theater and see Smokin' Aces! I've heard so much about this movie, but I can get quite lazy, so I need a kick up the butt!

This movie has done wonders for Jeremy's career. It's definitely got him noticed. Soon, actors and actresses will be discussing the next Jeremy Piven movie they are due to star in :)

It's taken Jeremy a long while to get this sort of recognition. He is, by far, one of the greatest actors in Hollywood and was classically trained (how many actors can say that?). After all these years of playing second fiddle to others it's about time he had his chance.

There are many stories reported about Jeremy's private life, but to ne honest none of that interests me. At the end of the day his job is to act and that is where I (and others) give him merit.

Relaunch of Jeremy Piven Homepage

About two weeks ago I decided that it had been way too long since I last updated the Jeremy Piven Homepage (the last change had been made in November 2005!). The website needed a facelift so I spent some time redesigning and taking out obsolete content. Well, voila! The new website is up (Jeremy Piven Homepage).

Jeremy has been extremely busy of late - Entourage is doing very well and at last he is getting the recognition he deserves. With an Emmy award under his belt, it's onwards and upwards from here.

I'm interested in his new movie Smokin' Aces (visit the official website). Jeremy plays a character called Buddy "Aces" Israel, a sleazy Vegas magician, who finds himself in trouble with the mob. The movie has been released in the UK already and reports of Jeremy's performance are very positive. Smokin' Aces also stars Ray Liotta, Andy Garcia, Ben Affleck and Alicia Keys. I've not seen the movie yet, but what a great mix of actors (also sent in the beautiful location of Lake Tahoe)!

When I get a chance to catch the movie, I'll write a review.
